Welcome to part two of the Napoleonic project we're working on. These are all Foundry figures. 2 French limber teams pulling 12 pdr's. These are again painted to our Museum standard. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy painting these Foundry figures. A Good figure makes the whole experience all the more enjoyable.
The Green on the gun is as realistic as possible. The description of the colour of paint used was yellow ochre plus a very small amount of black. So I recreated this using vallejo colours and it turned out to be a fantastic highlight colour which matches rather well with a lot of images I've seen in various books.

Hi Toby - just 'found' your blog from Miles 'Ubergeek's Lair'. Those Foundry limber figures are fantastic - I think they may just pip the FR French limber - just wish they'd make a Polish Horse Artillery version! Nice blog and great painting skills.
