They can be used for lots of French figures as described on the victrix website
'This figure set has a lot of versatility. We designed the heads to have the thistle shaped plume rather than just the pom-pom. This gives the figures a lot more flexibility to make other units of Napoleon’s Elite infantry on campaign. All you do is remove the top of the tuft to make the Middle Guard, Turin Velites and some units of Line Chasseurs. By leaving the tuft on you can make line Grenadiers, Line Voltigeurs, Tirailleurs, Chasseurs and Carabiniers'
Nice to see the new Victrix miniatures all painted up. I told my self that i didn´t "need" any more napoleonics but a box or two mayby should be in order anyway...

Astonishing detail on these - I am a great admirer of your layered colour technique. Lots of infantry in greatcoats look like really useful figures too.
