Kings Lifeguard finished and based!

Hello Everyone!. Here are a few shots of the finished unit painted to a good Showcase standard. We've taken away a few figures and added 8 of a different pose. I hope you like them as much as I do.

What a colourful period to paint =]

  1. Wow Toby - they are fantastic - Army Painter dipped or manually shaded? (impressive result either way!) Those standards are really first class as well - yours or commercially available? Wouldn't mind getting some of that grass on the basing too its perfect! Try some really, really diluted brown or flesh wash on the rocks just a large drop or two on each - it accentuates the shadow creases and gives a more earthy 3D effect.

    Cheers,
    Doc

  2. The grass is available to buy from Antenocitis workshop called Silflor grass tufts. Thank you for the tip on the rocks.

Army painter I wish! Hours and hours of brushwork more like.

The standards are GMB flags. Highly reccomended.
